Sumida Ku - Khaosan Tokyo Hostel

"Sumida City (Sumida Ku) was founded on March 15, 1947, when the Mukojima District of the north became one with the Honjo District of the south.
Sumida City has many cultural traditions and historical sites, such as the Sumidagawa Fireworks Festival, the cherry blossoms of Bokutei, the grand sumo championships, and shops of long standing. In all areas of the town, you can feel the unique ambience of the shitamachi (old- fashioned merchants’ town) that has been passed down through the generations since the Edo Period.
In addition, Tokyo Sky Tree® is scheduled to be open in the area close to Oshiage and Narihirabashi in 2012. It is expected to be a tourism hub for eastern Tokyo with many visitors from across Japan and overseas."

Działają Zjednoczone Browary Grodziskie, Zakłady Mięsne, Mleczarnia, Tartak i inne. Po drugiej wojnie światowej w Grodzisku zachowały układy przestrzenne dwóch, dawnych organizmów miejskich. Połączone są one ul. Szeroką, która dziś pełni funkcję handlowego centrum. Ośrodkiem najstarszej części miasta jest kwadratowy Stary Rynek z okazałym ratuszem z poł. XIX w. oraz studnia bł. Bernarda z Wąbrzeźna, odbudowana w końcu XIX w., gdy zaprzestano pobierać z niej wodę dla miejscowych browarów, a odrestaurowana w 1995 r. Poznańskiej i Wawrzyniaka z XVIII wieku.

Najcenniejszym jednak zabytkiem jest kościół św. Jadwigi z I połowy XV w. Dwieście lat później przebudowany w stylu manierystycznym. Wewnątrz wiele ciekawych zabytków sztuki sakralnej. Przed kościołem pomnikowa lipa szerokolistna o obwodzie ok. 5 m.

Endlich Sommerfeeling

Nach vielen, vielen Herbsttagen
heute endlich Sommerfeeling!
Am Rhein fast wie am Meer,
am Morgen besonders eindrucksvolle Stimmung.

Auch wenn nicht alles ideal verläuft,
Schön haben wir hier.
Dankbarkeit im Herzen.

Unterwegs

Regen, Sonne, Regenbogen

Stau, Stau, Stau..

LOL²A-Prinzip (?), Marek Grechuta

Text eines seiner Lieder (im Original - Titel übersetzt: Das Herz):

„Serce”
a liście mrą srebrzyście.

Pani zdziwiona mówi mi cóż to przecież bukiet zwykłych róż,
ach rzeczywiście, więc cóż ci dam?

Dam ci serce szczerozłote, dam konika cukrowego,

Dam ci serce szczerozłote, dam konika cukrowego,

Remember the good old 1980s?
When things were so uncomplicated?
I wish I could go back there again
And everything could be the same.

I've got a ticket to the moon
I'll be leaving here any day soon
Yeah, I've got a ticket to the moon
But I'd rather see the sunrise in your eyes.

Got a ticket to the moon
I'll be rising high above the earth so soon
And the tears I cry might turn into the rain
That gently falls upon your window
You'll never know.

....

Ticket to the moon
Flight leaves here today from Satellite Two
As the minutes go by, what should I do?
I paid the fare, what more can I say?
It's just one way (only one way)...

Anything can happen if you let it

Sometimes things are difficult but you can bet it

Doesn't have to be so

Changes can be made
You can move a mountain if you use a larger spade
Anything can happen, it's a marvel
You can be a butterfly

Or just stay larval

Stretch your mind beyond fantastic

Dreams are made of strong elastic

Take some sound advice and don't forget it
Anything can happen if you let it

I wonder...
Anything can happen if you let it

You won't know a challenge until you've met it

No one does it for you
No one but yourself

Vacillating violets get left up on the shelf

Anything can happen, just imagine

That should be epitaph

I wear the badge in
Honour of this world's free thinkers

Those who see beyond their blinkers
Jelly isn't jelly
Till you set it

Anything can happen if you let it
Anything can happen if you let it

What good is a whistle
Unless you whet it

Broaden your horizons

Open different doors

You may find a you there that you never knew was yours

Anything can happen

Raise the curtain

Things you though impossible
Will soon seem certain

Thought at first it may sound clownish

See the world more upside-downish

Turn it on its head then pirouette it

Anything can happen if you let it

If you reach for the stars

All you get are the stars

But we've found a whole new spin

If you reach for the heavens

You get the stars thrown in

You get the stars thrown in

If you reach for the stars

All you get are the stars

But we've found a whole new spin

If you reach for the heavens

You get the stars thrown in

Anything can happen if you let it

Life is out there waiting so go and get it

Grab it by the collar, seize it by the scruff

Once you've started living life you just can't get enough

Anything can happen, it's official

You can choose the super or the superficial

Sally forth the way we're steering

Obstacles start disappearing

Go and chase your dreams you won't regret it

Anything can happen
(Anything can happen)
Anything can happen Anything can happen

If you let it

Perfekt organisiert. Ein sehr schöner Stoff. Durchaus sehens- und hörnswert!

Mary Poppins is a series of children's books written by P. L. Travers and originally illustrated by Mary Shepard.

Mary Poppins is a 1964 musical film starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, produced by Walt Disney, and based on the Mary Poppins books series.
